TACOS OASIS: From TRAILER to RESTAURANT!

Once upon a time (November 11th, 2010, at approximately 3:30pm), in a gas station parking lot on N Forest Hill Dr & E Enon Ave, there stood a small black trailer. It was here that the founding Taqueros of Tacos Oasis set up shop. Armed with tortillas and a few killer recipes, we braved the sizzling heat of the plancha and the fierce competition of an air pump nearby to bring our tacos to the masses.

But our tacos were so good that they quickly won the hearts (and stomachs) of the community. Soon enough, the little black trailer could no longer contain the demand for our mouth-watering creations. We needed more space to spread our deliciousness and make room for more Taqueros.

So, we took a bold leap and invested in a larger trailer - one that was painted our self-proclaimed signature color: red. With more room to work, we were able to hire more Taqueros and cut down on the ever-growing line that stretched out daily from our window.

But our success brought about a new challenge: traffic! The community we had built in Everman loved Tacos Oasis so much that it was causing a bit of a hazard. We knew two things. One, it was clear that we needed to find a new permanent home. Two, we couldn't leave the community we built in Everman. So, we took a bold leap and invested in a larger trailer - one that was painted our self-proclaimed signature color: red. But our success brought about a new challenge: traffic! The community we had built in Everman loved Tacos Oasis so much that it was causing a bit of a hazard. We knew two things. One, it was clear that we needed to find a new permanent home. Two, we couldn't leave the community we built in Everman.

Thankfully, we were able to purchase the land next to the gas station we currently call home. So we began to build the next phase of our epic journey. We started by constructing a patio under which we would park our trailer and provide a spot for our customers to eat.

But as fate would have it, our popularity continued to skyrocket, and the red trailer soon proved too small to handle the demand. So, we embarked on our most ambitious project yet - building our own restaurant! Thanks to the help of the City of Everman and it’s Economic Development Corporation, we were able to make it happen. In 2017, the construction of the Tacos Oasis restaurant was finally complete. But we didn't stop there. As our customer base grew and evolved, we kept changing with it. We added new features like a playground, an ice cream & churro area, and even a pickleball court!

Through thick and thin, Tacos Oasis has remained dedicated to our community and our craft. We've been in a few pickles along the way, but we've always come out on top. And now, we're ready for the next chapter of our journey.
